    ST PATRICK'S DAY SOTD
    17 March 2017

Pre: A lot of hot water
    Razor: EJ DE89BL
    Blade: Shark Super Chrome
    Brush: Omega 6212 Silvertip
    Cream: Proraso Green
Post: Hot/cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
    After Shave: Proraso Green splash
    Prop: AnaLee Leprechaun Mouse
I ended the week the way I started, with a menthol kick. Proraso was the only thing in my den that was green, so the 6212 whipped up the cream into another great lather, and the DE89BL/Shark combo came through again. Patted some Green splash on and away to work. To my fellow Denizens of Irish decent have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Day 22 of 30 days of straights

I managed a BBS this morning with no cuts and 2 weepers. I am getting better at not slicing my own neck, but I am still struggling to avoid the weepers. Straight razors have a much steeper learning curve, IMHO, than do DEs.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day All!
Lots of tobacco goodness this morning. Love the scent of the RR Puros. The soap lathers up easily. Great cushion & glide. The Shark blade is doing well. I normally change out blades after Saturday's shave and get 7 quality shave out of the blades in my rotation (Astra SP, Personna Red, Rapira LUX, Voskhod). The Shark has to give me 4 more good, tug free shaves if it wants entry into my blade lair.

    Soap: RazoRock Puros
    Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 Slant
    Blade: Shark (3)
    After Shave: RazoRock Puros

I have the Puros soap but haven't used it yet. Looking forward to trying it. Maybe I'll pick up the splash as well if the soap works well for me. I love tobacco scents.

The Puros splash is long lasting too. As a bonus SWMBO likes it as well.

Razors: Razor Rock Hawk (kai mild 7)/ Schick G4 injector ("chick" 4)
    Cream: La Jola
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Pre Shave: Hibco Nag Champa
    AS: Hibco Butter Balm
    Newspaper Date: Dec. 9,1943

Swimming with the dolphins again, boy is this fun. An easy 2 pass, WTG (Hawk)/ATG (G4) and clean-up. A couple little weepers with the G4 on clean-up. That "Chick" is really sharp, you gotta watch every move. This is one happy Camper wishing the best shave for all. God Bless.
