Unbelievably smooth, Tom. First and only wedge I've tried. I really like it, but I think I prefer the hollow grinds. Maybe because that's what I'm used to
Today's shave was very nice This 8/8 near wedge is the heaviest razor I own. It has a very nice edge and just wiped the whiskers off. Im going to like this one. Koraat Razor
Darn you! I'm going to Korat and drool Seriously, next year I'm up for my aniversary at work. Perhaps by then I can come to a descision of the design.....
My white Arkie came in yesterday from @Spyder and I put it to it's first use today. I hadn't shaved with my ERN since December and it got the nod. As you'd likely expect, it was a really nice shave. The smoothness of the Arkie finish was most noticeable on the areas where I end up taking multiple strokes - extra smooth. No cuts, nicks, weepers and a super close finish with little noise from the Alum. Yeah, I'll be putting more razors on that stone. Oh, and I forgot what a noisy razor sounds like. The thin grind on this ERN makes shaving with it like listening to velcro being pulled apart. Same as new. I have several NOS bottles and they all smell the same. I even had a bottle from 1954, and it still smells the same. 1993 was when the formula changed.
Been told that aftershaves and colognes goes bad after a year or two.guess that aint true then that is good news since i have aftershaves that will last for decades.i do store them cold.
Hello everyone! Haven't posted much lately, mainly because I was on vacation, but here's today's shave: - Phoenix & Beau "Spitfire" - Simpson Commodore - Colonial Steel Razor - Lucky Tiger/Jeris Musk Fantastic. The Colonial Steel might not be the most spectacular looking razor, but it's one of my best shavers
Thank you - and yes I did. Wife and I spent some time in Florida and we've been on 2 Cruises (Bahamas and Caribbean).
