What other Stirling soaps do you have?

  7. Shave Plan for Sunday(3-26):

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(Max. Moisture)***
    shave-Rise Super Foam
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE*
    A.S.-Avon 4 Men "Maxwell 23 Tribute"

*-it appears the Pivot +'s are gone. Stinks, I tell ya.
***-Nivea 4 Men has pulled a real sneaky move with its bodywashes that I hereby place in a dictionary as the meaning of the word-"compete". For a few years, they had the COOL for the hot summers. Now they just added SUB-ZERO to that. To my nose, the same chill smell applies to both. It's like the situation at the TD Bank North Garden( Bruins&Celtics, and other hockey&basketball events). There are two Dunkin Donuts booths within easy walking distance of each other! At least there were the last time I was there. What's with this, y'know??? Anyway, as for the Nivea 4 Men situation, I'm going back to Dial 4 Men this summer-D4M has a nice refreshing one that hasn't yet been "copied".

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Omega Hi synthetic
    Lather: Fine American Blend
Post: Witch hazel splash, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

Decent shave today with the PAL Adjustable. This razor isn't for me. I've given it several tries, all the way back to a pass-around last year, and my shaves with it aren't great or comfortable. Terrific lather and scent from the Fine products. The Omega brush has worked really well for me until today when I was drying it on my towel after the shave and the knot came out!! I'm out of town and it's the only brush I brought. I put it back in and it feels sort of snug. I will use it again and see if it's salvageable.

    Have a great weekend!

  12. Yes I would because the Schick Xtreme3 also works great for my head shaves whereas the Mach 3 falls short on head shaves for me. :happy088:

  13. did Doc Ezlovan put that British flag on the Glastonbury recently? I don't recall it being there, both on the soap and aftershave.
  14. Stirling's Sheep Soap bath bar is my favorite bath bar ever. I'm also a fan of Stirling's shave soap, but this will be the first time I've had the SHAVING soap with mutton tallow. I just received Glastonbury. Is there an appreciable difference from their already excellent performing beef tallow base?

  15. I agree with your assessment on the beef tallow.
  16. I find the post shave feel to be better with the Sheep Soap. It also seems a bit slicker, but I am not convinced that this isn't just in my head.

    Razor: Supply Provision Co.** Medium
    Blade: Schick
    Lather: OSP Grapefruit & Menthol
    Brush: RazoRock Chubby
    Aftershave: RazoRock Lime
I had the best shave with the Supply Co injector than any other razor right out of the box. Incredible shave. Everything about this razor says class, I felt like I was opening an iPhone. I got so caught up in this shave I don't have much to say about OSP Grapefruit, slick, protective and cold.
