Made a quick change of decision today for my shave..thus:

A.S.-TSD splash w/Russian Leather.

 

The Krampert's Frostbite soap is definitely awesome - its scent is lovely, the lather is so easy to work up, and the menthol sensation is great - ok, not like a Glacial soap but still very cold as I said yesterday. This soap also has wonderful post-shave care and the matching aftershave splash has that same scent, it's freezing-cold, and its moisturizing allows me to skip using a balm. What a beautiful BBS shave I had!

 

Similar, but I think the scent is spearmint. Either way it's a nice cream and ASB and for the money a great buy............

The only scent I ever got from the Krampert's was menthol. Chilly, yes, and a good shave, but I just couldn't keep it in my den.

Today's shave was nice. My lather smelled delicious. Three passes with the hd. I'm curious to see if the platinum persona can hold up like the labs. Nice n' smooth today. Finished with vanilla clubman.

I have a few Shovelheads but never seem to use them. I like the way they look, how they feel in the hand while shaving, and the closeness of the shave. However, I just don’t seem to remember to stick them in my rotation. So this morning when I was reaching for a razor and saw an SH, I pulled it right out and loaded it up with a 4 day old Pella. It shaved great. I really need to use it more often. The Kells soap mixed well with the Stetson AS. I like them both. When I finished the shave and was writing up this SOTD I noticed all items used were made in USA.

 

I find the scent has other nice notes besides menthol. To me it seems woodsy in some ways. I absolutely love it.

Today's shave was With Trumper GFT. As usual with Trumper creams, it whipped up great. Slick, and fragrant.
The SA-109/Voskhod efficiently mowed down the weekday stubble.
Finished off with Fine "American Blend". As I'm writing this a thunderstorm is rolling thru Central NJ. I hope this metal can I'm sittin' in is grounded.

Received the TSD soap in the mail yesterday along with a puck of TSD Patchouli Rose (lanolin). Put the puck in my trusty, old VDH bowl. Wonderful scent, easy to lather. Slick with great cushion. Terrific post shave feel on my skin. Topped it off with the VIBR. I'm kind of a rummy today.....and likin' it!

WSP Rustic Shaving Soap Mahogany today. 20 seconds to load the HFD/WD Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave (perfect match).
