Tuesday's March SE Madness Shave Dove Men Face Wash Cella Jayaruh #18 Schick C Ted Pella Injector CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water The Cella Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes the Schick C and Ted Pella Injector blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Injecto-matic shared duty with the new Progress and delivered an absolutely effortless BBS face shave. Outstanding smoothness and efficiency. What's not to love. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Razor: AlumiGoose w/Hempel Ti Blade: Kai Captain TITAN (7) Brush: Shavemac ATG LE The Rowl Silvertip Soap: Knockout Cool Blue Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shady Past Bowl: Pottersong KO Shave Very good shave tonight with this razor. The Kai blade is pretty good, however, in my opinion it doesn't stand up to the Feather Pro. Hopefully this brush will release some of the soap once it gets broken in.
My dad has an SE razor, a MicroMatic GEM Razor. He tried to use it once but it cut him. Ever since then he's been nowhere near it. I tried getting him different blades to try but there aren't as much blade choices for SE razors as there is for DE razors. Oh well, *sigh*
The open comb micro matic is an awesome razor but can be a hand full. There is no need for a huge choice of blades. A secret to that razor is to be sure to run it flat on the face. Here are the instructions from the 30's http://theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/2227/micromatic-open-instruction-sheet-1930s

I had time for a picture today. It was a wonderful shave with my Gem 1912 with the ornate handle. I do love this razor!

Hussy for the head (lol), A for beard duty. I mixed some good hair conditioner in with the shave oils and I quite like the results. Super slick. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Wed 29th March Supply on 3*, and Chick [ 5 ]. Finding it rather smooth and difficult to get a consistently good finish.
Razor: Schick G Blade: Schick (1) Brush: Shavemac ATG LE The Rowl Silvertip Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shambala Bowl: Symmetrical Starry Night Dottie Bowl The Schick G is a very nice change from my other razors. It is very easy to get a close comfortable shave without any issues. The Route 66 Perfect Storm is a very good and a little harder soap than some of the other Route 66 soaps, which I like. All in all a very good three pass shave with a nice aftershave.
SOTD March 29, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick I1 injector Brush: Omega Hi synthetic Lather: Speick shave cream Post: Witch hazel splash, Speick aftershave WTG, touch-up Nice shave with the I1 this evening. The Speick cream lathered up beautifully and the splash felt great and smells good. One big pass with touch-up is all I need. Have a great night!
