The Tabac stick is so awesome. It has that wonderful scent that is so famous as well as tons and tons of wonderful lather. The matching adtershave was a perfect finish for this great shave!

30 March 2017 Shave Of The Day
For today's shave I used the last of the Trumper "Spanish Leather" sample. Since it was a little hard, I used my Omega 10098 to whip up a very nice slick lather.
The SA-109 performed it's usual morning magic and a 2.5 pass WWS+ was accomplished. Splashed on some Old Spice from my WCS sampler. Haven't used OS since my Junior year of High School. Still smelled the same as I remembered it.
    Have a good 'un!

    Soap: TSD Bay Rum (lanolin)
    Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
    After Shave: Pinaud VIBR

Well, this Voskhod seems to be holding up OK. I know it's only two shaves, but with the last one earlier this week, even on the 2nd shave there was some discomfort in spots. I'll see how it goes tomorrow. The TSD lanolin soap is a delight. Whips up lather in a jiffy, strong scent, slick, and great post shave feel.

    ram57 Don't Open til Christmas

Today was my first shave with the JH Jarwin and wasn't sure what to expect from this razor. The individual I traded with for this razor likes mild razors (Feather AD-D2, Wolfman .57/.61 gap) so I knew it was at least medium aggressive but first pass with a 4 day old Spoiler blade I could feel the blade and flash of '11 R41 came to my mind. All for not as this was a smooth two pass shave with no bite. In reality it was a single pass I could have went with just a XTG under my chin which is my usual trouble spot but face and neck were smooth with the initial WTG pass. I believe it this close of a shave is a testament of how good a razor the Timeless .95 gap head is mowing down whisker yesterday and the hardware and slickness of the Asses Milk shave soap. This Jarwin is a replicate of a Darwin Deluxe and a double thumbs up to Jurgen Hempel for a wonderful piece of work. Too bad he decided to make just ten of these razors.
