Razor: Schick G Blade: Schick (2) Brush: Shavemac ATG LE The Rowl Silvertip Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shambala Bowl: Symmetrical Starry Night Dottie Bowl Another good shave with this combination of products. Much better performance from The Rowl tonight. Symmetrical bowl takes a little getting used to, but I'm getting a good lather from this shave bowl.
I may get a fire going tonight. Did you see that it is supposed to get all the way down to 56 tonight?
Thanks very much Clint. I used to fish in this area. I'll see if I can get a better picture after the snow storm.
*Shudder* After the abscessed tooth, I started using Listerine for it's currently advertised purposed and for its older post-shave usage. I don't want to thing about what it would feel like using it "down there".
I can't imagine your summers. My rule is that if it is above freezing shorts are appropriate. But when we hit 85-90 degrees I am miserable.
Another daily shave... Same kit as before. I've skipped the PSO the last two days, to see if that might help out with my trouble spots. It has only been two days, so I'll give it some more but I can't say that it is doing anything for my skin. I'm not using super hot water like I do to soak the brush, but maybe I'll try just a bit cooler. I opted to only do two passes, and then limited my touch ups to get my skin used to DE daily shaving. Again I was just going for the look of clean shaven, not actually being clean shaven. As I rinsed my face it was hard to grab the razor and go for another pass. The alum burned in the usual spots, but most of my face was cool to the touch which was nice. The Margaritas in the Arctic set my face afire, but it was a nice cool sensation after it cooled down some. For my two passes, the first pass was that "Gillette slide" and it seemed to do pretty good. I think I'll try it again, maybe wait for two days worth of stubble to see its effectiveness. The second pass was ATG. Only two nicks, and nothing that needed any kind of tending to. Only one day left to March. What will tomorrow bring?
