I just got a Gillette Black Tip with an aluminum handle, this will be my second go around with this razor type.
Take a look at the spring. You'll see how it is flat instead of curving out and then back in. It is an exceptionally smooth shave as well.
@twhite is calling me an E1 hoarder. This was pure luck which is why I am surprised you didn't find it first. It was a BIN on one of my standard searches. The last one I found was in February and was personalized and sitting in a lot. This one is clean and was all by itself. I've never done a double take and pressed a BIN so fast in my life.

I think it is at least equally aggressive, if not more - meaning it shaves really close. However, it is smoother than an early type or other E2s.
I decided to make the plunge and buy a stick of Arko - we'll see. While I was at it I also bought Proraso Green. I have the Red and like it - thought I would go for the green as well. Also I bought my first Reef Point Soap - classic barbershop scent. They should be here by the end of the week.
That Grandstaff Spicy Vetiver is a great peppery scent. I don't think you would be disappointed with the performance at all, a quality product for sure.
