I couldn't be smoother and happier after this shave. The Glacial MITA soap's great lather hit me with such an intense freeze, and when I was doing my 2nd pass my eyes were tearing like crazy. The Diana balm and the Arctique aftershave felt ungodly cold as well!

Good shave with the Schick Adjustable and Proraso Green. The little Jayaruh boar worked well and the Barbasol has a nice menthol punch packed in. Nice way to start the work week. Have a great day!

Cream: Proraso Green Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa Razor: Fatip Grande Blade: Astra SP (3) After Shave: Barbasol Brisk I'm working on a personal themed April whereby I rotate between the four Proraso creams paired with a similar colored after shave splash. Keeping the razor, bowl and brush consistant for the duration and changing blades at my normal interval (7 days). Use a different cream every day. Started with Blue on Saturday, White on Sunday, Green on Monday and Red on Tuesday. Lather, rinse repeat.

Day 8 of 30 days of Henckel straights I moved from the 4/8 Henckel to the 6/8 Henckel today. There is a decided difference between the two. The 6/8 seems heavier and cuts through the whisker with more authority than the 4/8. It is not that the 6/8 actually gives a better shave, but rather that the 6/8 seems more willing to give the good shave. I will stick with the 6/8 for a couple of days before moving to the 7/8. Despite the fact that the other day I said I would stick to a single pass, I decided to add another one today because it was going so well. After the second pass and a little touching up I ended with a DFS. Not too bad for day 38 of using straights. BTW - How many of you are rooting for my alma mater, G.U.?
