You'll be seeing this picture for a bit as it is my travel set up for this trip. The last few I took a C3 and this time I went with the E1. Both are easy to load manually and, since I am not checking bags, it makes it easy to load the blades I've sent myself ahead of time.

What can I say about the E1 other than "Wow!" This thing is so smooth and aggressive. I'll have to see how it compares to the Hussy in about 16 hours. That's the point where I can first start to feel some evidence of stubble coming on after a Hussy shave. First and second pass reduction would have been plenty for most any purpose but I went for all three and would have kept going just for the sheer pleasure - it is just that smooth and easy of a razor to use. :happy036:

    AOS Lavender PSO
    Haslinger Schafmilch Shave Soap
    T&H Wellington Super Badger

My 2nd shave....with a schick type O clone with twin blades. (old stock, schick teflon coated)....
back when I did google search for reviews , most praised this rare razor from Japan. As most know ebarbershop web store sold the replica, and I am happy to own this replica! it is a little different as i.did get a few bites from the second blade, due angling to much. ... i am amazed with the closeness of my shave, i really notice hours later.... Question, i noticed the injector was hard to push in , I really had to use force, is this normal?

I used to think carbon was a drag because of maintenance & rust..But now I just rinse my razor..then swish in alcohol and then dry the razor and blade...Put the blade back in the razor and leave it...So far.....NO RUST ! I don't know why...and maybe I'm doing more than neccesary...But I am seeing no rust and getting 7 great shaves from a blade and leaving the blade and razor for a couple days between shaves...Still....NO PROBS....Just great shaves...HA HA...I'll take it!

    wchnu Duck Season!

Woo! Gotta love it. I picked up a 5 pack of treets at a little country store I passed by today. They are good blades so nice to find them. No shave tonight. Getting a good grow for a Signature shave for Williams Wednesday!

Bird, I will definitely be trying out those carbon blades again and I'll try out your technique.

Today's shave was pure goodness! It was inspired by @Robyflexx and his all time favorite razor. Fantastic shave with the PAL injectomatic this morning loaded with a Personna.

What a pleasure after an abysmal experience with another Razor.

I remember the first SE shaves I ever got were with the Treet Supers that Tom/ @HoosierTrooper sent me...They were great, and provided a few of those life defining moments....

Bird, you're spot on with that comment. I haven't used my PAL injectomatic for a few months and I had forgotten how good this razor really is. I think it shaves better than my Schick G and E. It's interesting that it wasn't a runaway best seller when new. However, now that you let the cat out of the bag, there's going to be a run on eBay for these razors!
