The PAL Injecto was a Bit Unfortunate as You Say..In that it Struggled to Compete with the Well Known Schick Brand Name that Most Folks in the USA Associated with Injectors.. It was for that Very Reason that ASR Primarily Marketed it in Europe..Britain in Particular..ASR had a Factory in Britain..The Problem in the UK was that Injectors were Relatively Unheard of as Schick Injectors were Mostly Sold in the USA at that Time..It Wasn't Till Later that Schick Opened Factories in Holland & Sweden to Produce their Later Models & Blades.. Billy..
They are truly great razor.I got some in case one breaks All are made in UK apart from mint USA one at front. My RAD has been treated, and I am doing quite well in 2017.
The O with twins wasn't cutting it on the head shave. Shake Sharp never fails. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
You can safely guess that today's shave was really close and really smooth. It didn't quite meet the Hussy test for longevity yesterday but I've switched in a Personna blade so we'll see how that changes things. In the meantime... Can't read 747 pages, but today I had my first shave with a Schick Eversharp E (I think) Injector and loved it. Already got me thinking about buying a SP Injector.
So is this type supposed to open? It looks like someone opened it at some point, a nice little scratch in the shape of an arc, but if so I can't figure out how.
Someone may correct me but I do not think it does. I have an E that opens and it is not hard. Thar looks like a C head to me. If I am right there is a tab holding the spring in place. Again I could be wrong so we will let a smart guy look at it.
Awesome!!! I hope you can if not I will send you some to try until you order some. The Wallgreen blades are nice!! If you have one near you. Which Micromatic did you get? Which junior? Pics?
That's a Canadian E3 - definitely do NOT force it open. The arc is likely there from the manufacturing process when the spring was moved into place. You'll see that on many Schicks. If you force it open the spring will no longer have the proper tension when you return it to it's original position and you'll have ruined a nice razor.
Thur 6th April After my recent post just had to be a PAL Injecto-Matic today.Despite my heavy beard and the blade being on its 12th use, I had a smooth and comfortable Shave which was also nice and close. The Japanese Schick is good in this Razor.
I used the same setup this morning as I did yesterday. Two passes and I'm BBS! It's fast, comfortable and efficient. I love this injectomatic!
