I have a few that I have found the same way. Two of them actually have pipes in them.

A one day break in my plans for using the same lineup all week. I received the General Artist Club razor in solid brass yesterday and just couldn't help myself. Three passes with minimal touch ups left me with a near perfect shave. The General is one of the smoothest artist club razors I have used. It felt mild but was very efficient. At some point I will try the General with a Feather Super. Overall I am very impressed . I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

I love that razor. They don't look like much in the build department, but I sure got some of the best vintage SE shave I've had from one.

Williams Mug Soap today, to the delight of @wchnu!

The Williams worked okay. Not great, just okay. I soaked it with warm water while showering and then began to load slowly with a dry brush. I trickled in water little by little and loaded and loaded. I got what I thought was a good consistency in the brush. Wet my face and proceeded to face lather. I dipped the tips a couple of times for extra hydration. The lathering and the amount of lather isn't the problem because I had plenty of suds. It's just the Houdini act of it once you apply. However, I would say that the first application receded away by about 25%. It worked pretty well.

After the first pass I rinsed off and then reapplied on my neck and jaw area, standard procedure. I went to pick the razor up and the lather on my neck was basically gone. The slickness is incredible, however, so I was able to finish the clean-up. All around good shave. Not great, but certainly not bad.

The Williams lathers up with no problems. The disappearing act still gets me though. I went with Aqua Velva today because my wife is out of town and I'm heading out of town to a conference. She cannot abide Aqua Velva at all. So I have to use it when she's away! I'm sure we all have an aftershave that we like that SWMBO probably doesn't. That's life I guess.

Well, that is true! I shave very deliberately. That allows me to just stick with the one pass and touch-up and not irritate my face with multiple passes.

The video that @wchnu made with Williams woke me up to my shaving speed. He shaved lightning fast compared to me. It seemed like the first pass took about 20 seconds. You can make Williams last with that speed!
