I never noticed before, but is "COOLONG" a typo for cooling on The Veg? If it isn't supposed to be "COOLING", which The Veg ain't, what is coolong?

I could totally stomach watching you chowing on some Arko, but since it's the Internet, we will need video. I hear Arko makes great s'mores.

I get warm then slightly numb, but not cold.

Yes. Alternatively, you may fold the still-wrapped blade until it snaps. That's part of the appeal of shavette, they can use any DE blade. And thank you!

And you didn't ask....but...the "Magic By Master Barber" from Sally at $12, and the Parker Stainless at $20 online are where to start. Really solid mounts, good blade feel. Magic is very light, Parker might be easier to control for a first time user. Skin stretch like a boss and you're all good!

I will investigate, all things lilac and lavender interest me.

Thanks. Funny you mention that as I ordered the stainless Parker last night. I used a straight in the past, but I was not up for the maintenance. I am not very good at honing. I figured for $20 delivered it was worth a shot.
