Monday afternoon shave. Schick Grip Probably a ASR blade Vie-Long horse Palmolive refreshing lemon SC WH Clubman Musk The Grip fired off a great shave. It has been quite awhile since I used it. This is a L head right? If you have not tried a horse brush I recommend everyone does so. Awesome lather and a very CCS.
Morning Routine: You guessed it, another wonderful shave with the E1. You know the rest of the story. Hot water preparation AOS Lavender PSO Haslinger Schafmilch Shave Soap T&H Wellington Super Badger Schick E1 Personna (4) AOS Lavender After Shave Balm Evening Update: Something different for me. I have an early exit planned tomorrow morning and don't want to slow myself down with a shave. As the barest of stubble is just showing 12 hours or so after my morning shave I decided I could get by with a dry shave tonight to cover tomorrow. Easy peasy. Schick E1 Personna (5) AOS Lavender After Shave Balm Happy shaving - Karl
First SE post and photo ( first photo attempt) Razor- Gem Featherweight Blade- Gem stainless Brush- RR Disruptor Soap- TSD Killer Queen A/S- Floid Vigoroso Usually not a menthol nut but this stuff is wild, I love it, almost makes my eyes water, also first shave using the gem stainless blades opposed to the cvs special. Made a world of difference, great shave tonight. Soon as I order some injector blades, I'll turn my one SE rotation to two. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Couple of weepers on my chin but nothing too bad. They went away with the cold rinse. Otherwise a smooth and enjoyable shave. Have a great day!

Tue 11th April Exec Shaving S/S Claymore with Schick Proline P-20 [ 5 ]. Feel lucky to have this one, maybe heavy but delivers a top class Shave
Wed 12th April RazoRock Syn. 22mm P & B Spitfire Brass General Schick Proline P-20 [1] Alum Rub/Rinse off Jaguar Prestige A/S lotion This is a huge improvement on the original light version. Chose to use a Schick Blade, to aid a comparison to the Claymore. I found the lighter weight to be good, the handle which I thought might be slippy was fine on down strokes , but I felt some knurling would be good on upstrokes.Other than my reservations about the Handle, it is smoother than the Claymore and to be honest the overall shave finish was better . Such a shame that I have it on loan, as this version is currently sold out . I really need to offload other Razors, which will not be used much , that is a problem when one went through a collection phase.
Tonight I simply wanted the loudest shave possible. So I grabbed my Little Lather Catcher, the ER 1914... Yep!! I've got some loud....some very loud razors...But this 1914 is the loudest, meanest sounding razor that I have... WHEW!! What a wild child! Sounds like the SFX sounds from a Three Stooges film when they are using Str8 razors......And the handle vibrates like crazy when it's cutting...Can't get much funner than the Little Lather Catcher...Thats one PARTY MONSTER RAZOR if I've ever seen/heard one... OK......SO WHAT ARE YOUR LOUDEST RAZORS??? LET'S SEE EM! Here's mine Party Girl From Today... She likes to be called "Jaws" Check out her 'Bite' in this shot.
April 12, 2017 Colonial Razors “The General” Feather Pro (5) WDC-8 with Druida Manchurian Reef Point Test Depth Cool Water EDT I have been amazed at how smooth the brass General shaves. This is by far the smoothest AC razor I have tried.
Bird, I'll have to agree with you. I think the ER 1914 is the loudest razor I've got. The sound from that baby is music to my ears! It sings like my vintage Gibson ES-335TD while belting out the blues on a hot summer night. It's talking to me and telling me how close, smooth and efficient it really is and how good that shave will be. Now I love the shaves from my Gem Damaskeene razors, but there's just something about the ER 1914 that puts it a step ahead.
