  2. This is a good idea. I usually add in a bath soap for my wife, but a towel would be a nice addition as well. I always find the "minimum purchase for free shipping" requires some careful strategy.;)

  3. How long does it take for a shaving towel to work best?

  4. I bought a pack of a dozen bar mop towels at Sam's Club.

  5. I use whatever the landlady lets me use. So currently, it's one dark green washrag and one medium green washrag. Unbeknownst to me, however, both were in the dryer the other day when I decided it was time to S&S. So, I grabbed the only one left in the hallway closet: a white one. The two green ones are now stashed under the lavatory until wash day and I can put the white one back where it belongs and I can go back to me routine. I do have a towel set the neighbor lady gave me (I haven't even looked at it), but I'm saving that for the day I finally move out. I've been here almost 14 years, so that may be a while, but I digress.

  6. It depends on the quality of the towel. :happy102:

  7. you want to talk strategy relative to free-shipping? When I go to CVS to buy Clubman, my careful strategy is to place it into my car with my hands, then "ship" it home for free, in said car. :D

  8. Hm. I guess I'm the cheapskate here. I use the low grade terrycloth washcloth "rags" you buy in a 30 pack from Home Depot or Lowes. I find they work great for cleaning, as well.

  9. If I've done the job right, the hoohoos are just as clean and dry as the rest of me :bath::D

  10. Nothing special for me. I just use one of our regular terry hand towels.

  12. I bought a stack a long time ago but just never got in the habit of using them.

I shave right after I shower so I wrap the shower towel around my waist and use it if needed.

We have a tray of paper guest towels that never gets used so maybe I should dump those and use the tray for shave towels.

  13. Just had five visitors leave after a five day visit to my Manly Den of Solitude. I showed them where I keep the cotton hand towels so generously supplied by all the Oil Field service companies. Spilled sticky soda on the kitchen floor?

"Grab one of those towels I showed y'all..."

She snatched two Shave Towels out of the cabinet, threw them on the floor, and used her shoe to mush them around to mop up the mess. Sigh. :sad023: It's just a rag I wipe my face with.
  14. Three to five minutes after the dryer finishes its cycle is just about right. Soft & warm. :happy088:
