Andrew it's fantastic! It's softer than anything else I've used yet it has good backbone. I face lathered and it was perfect. Ten seconds of loading and I had enough lather for 3 passes plus at least a few more if I desired. I'm happy
Just dug my Enders out, those Injector blades do slide in nice. I once tried a Shave with an original but did not hone it ,so results were not good. Your idea is very simple- Well Done
Simple and effective. Do experiment with blade exposure, I got a much better second shave reducing exposure a bit. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Ahh Man! I was hoping to see a 1914 maiden voyage review coming from you in the near future.. I do dig your current collection though...All Winners! And if you never added another razor, you should be more than well shaven for life...lol... And I would never want to do or say anything that could be referred to as "enabling" (not! )...Carry on my good shaver...And looking forward to sharing your shaving journey...
Last night, I pulled the shiney blue PAL Super; with one shave in; out of my ER 1914 and dropped it in my OCMM. From one lovely set of "Jaws" to a Bulldog's...with a reputation for biting...!! That rep could not be more undeserved!!! Instantly got such a refined, smooth, user friendly BBS....Funny...the Little Lather Cather is such a Wild Child! So LOUD and Vibrates so Hard as it cuts, that the Open Combed Micromatic is actually refined in comparison..If you lay it down, as the original directions say...It leaves nothing to chance..The original GEM Micromatic holds the blade in 5 places...tightly...you lay it down, so thats that...The angle is perfect! GEM thought they had the perfect razor so much, they stopped production of all other designs...They even moved the 1912 production to Ever Ready! And they were RIGHT...This really is a PERFECT razor...Like a concerto by Mozart, to add or subtract one note would diminish the final work! RANT OVAH!!! GEM Open Combed Micromatic/PAL Super combination is sensational...when you really want to spoil yourself...pull this combo out...

Today was my first ever injector shave and I am impressed. Lathered MDC santiel with my JR 118, I had heard the injectors felt like there wasn't even a blade in them but wow, 4 pass shave and it was amazing. Finished with fine American blend.Great shave, no irritation. Not much else can be said Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Many of us have the same experience and it may even get you to wonder why multi blade cartridge razors ever took off. Go figure!
