  10. Blame the snipers who can't stand to be known prior to the last 5 seconds of auction.

Need to try another blade because the shave tonight was bad .

  12. Which blade?

  13. It was an injector blade i used with toms adapter. I didn't have a new one so I reused one I had. It was a harsh and aggressive shave .

It is not a mild razor. On a scale of 1to10 I put it at 7-8. Try a new blade.

Another shave, waaay different results. While I'm waiting for my order of blades to come in, I decided to experiment a little. I got a bbs shave today with no burn or sting from the aftershave. The blade felt tuggy and you can tell the edge wasn't new. But playing with the shave I was able to get a great shave!

So what did I do? I modified a used se blade. I pulled off the spine and cut the blade in half and reinstalled the spine.

I then used the adapter that tom provided and used it as a wedge.

On the first pass, I had the wedge first then the blade. The last 2 passes I moved the blade and placed the wedge in front.

I also messed with the shake sharp feature. It did seem to work and knock off the rough edge I felt during the first 2 passes. I ordered some new gem blades and some injector blades. I'll continue to mess with it.

So I received 100 gem ptfe blades. The first thing I did was adapt a blade for the DeHaven. I did the first pass as I did in the previous post ( blade inserted first then the wedge), but the shave felt rough, so I switched the position of the wedge to the rear and moved the blade forward and that smoothed out the shave. It was so smooth, I got bbs with some weird irritation. Where I initially shaved on both sides my face began to swell and burn, now I don't know if it was the blade, or how I was shaving or maybe when I modified the blade I dirtied it? But it burned and itched bad. But tell you what.. my face is still smoooooth as I write this.
  18. Pictures of what you did please.
