Razor: Portland Razor Co Chimera / Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head Blade: Chick Strop: Drygulch 45 Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo Soap: Saponificio Varesino Arctic Tundra Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel Alum Osage Rub Fragrance: JPD Oud Noir Wonderful shave this morning to start off Sunday. I can't say enough good things about this soap, it lathers easily, offers excellent protection and glide. I've been searching for a while for a scent to match up with this soap and I think I found it. This Oud Noir has a wonderful woody scent with a slight citrus note, it matches the Arctic Tundra well. One pass with the Supply, two with the Chimera and I'm left with a DFS. Have a great day folks!

Sun 30th April ES Claymore V1 & Schick Proline P-30 [ 7] This was an extremely good Shave with a blade on 7th use.
Just scored myself a GEM Damaskeene. I already had one but not cased or in as nice of shape. This will be my shave tonight with an old Stropping blade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Damaskeene Had a great 2 pass shave tonight using the Damaskeene and a vintage Star blade. Gave it a good Stropping and good to go. Not pictured was the Williams soap and one of my JR brushes #154. Have a great week. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Thanks. The stropper is the first part of my SunRay set. Now all I need is the Razor. It will be a piece of cake finding that sucker. NOT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I found a mint one on a BIN one time and pressed the button only to have it come back saying the item was not available. Cased with stropper and strop and everything. Still painful...
hello fellow shavers, found the se thread by recommendation(thank you).just thought i would add pic of my first se purchase.i intend to testdrive it very soon .british ever-ready 1912.thank you for help with i.d. ing it and blade choices.
Sunday GEM Contour II PAL Palmolive for men Lemon SC ER200/TGN Silvertip WH Clubman I woke up a touch later then usual for work this afternoon. Still made time for a nice shave. The contor II gave a great smooth shave with the PAL. Not really sure how old this blade is but felt very good. These razors get a kinda bad reputation for being too mild. While mild I find they still give an awesome GEM shave just like their brothers. An awesome solid DFS with the palmolive for men Lemon creme face lathered with the ER 200/ TGN silver tip. Topped it all off with the Clubman. What a great day to be a wetshaver.
Ahhh Great Minds or, er...Great Whiskers! But today I reached for my Schick C3 Simplified Automatic Repeater....Same deal!!! After two passes no need to continue, but I didn't want to stop either....Ohh Boy, Schick really had their stuff together, from the get go....The razor is so modern no one has caught up with it yet! Probably was Buck Rogers' "go to' Have a great week every body!!!

SOTD May 1, 2017 Blade: Feather Pro Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Stirling Iced Pineapple Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Iced Pineapple aftershave WTG, touch-up RazoRock Black Hawk today. Feather Pro blade and it all felt smooth and comfortable. The Stirling products are top-notch as usual and it all came together for a nice shave. Have a great day!
So, I've got two shaves in now with the GEM Featherweight. Very impressive. Yesterday's shave was on a two day growth. Two passes and I was done. Today against my normal weekday stubble I got a DFS 2.5 passer. The half pass clean up(XTG) on my neck went really well. Nice and smooth. I think I have a new member of my rotation!
Mon 1st May Omega. 11126 boar Tabac Soap Brass General Feather pro ( 4 ) Alum Rub/Rinse off Tabac A/S lotion An interesting Shave with the Brass General, after a super Shave with the Claymore yesterday. I did use different blades, but felt that for me the Claymore was better balanced and provided a more comfortable Shave, which was as close as that attained with the General. Have yet to see how the Claymore fares with a Pro blade.
