I enjoyed a fantastic two-pass shave with my Bride's birth quarter Super Speed and my first ever shave with one of Jayaruh's Louisville Slugger brushes, JR # 160. Jim's artisan brushes are the real deal, and this one is already a favorite. The handle fits perfectly in my hand, and the fit and finish are excellent. The Omega boar knot is already starting to break in after a few test lathers. And as was fitting for my new brush and its soap destroying knot, I used my Jabonman Eufros Oriental Breeze shaving soap, which is also a favorite.

Enjoy the weekend. And, oh yes, I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I see there's coffee as part of the makeup of Leviathan soap. My new soap (being shipped as we type)will have some coffee in it.

#167 arrived a day early and the pictures already posted just don't do it justice! Jim is really an artisan and the grain on this wood is amazing. I'll post bloom and lather pics either later today or tomorrow.

Thanks Jim. Best I can tell, it was NOS when I purchased it. It still had the Gillette cardboard insert between the top and bottom plates. It shaves great too!
