    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

Fine shave with the Fat Friday combination. I always look forward to Fridays and the shave to start things off is always good. Smooth results with enjoyable process.

    Have a great Friday!

  9. It takes guts to do three passes with the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap but I did it!!!

Not only that - there was still enough lather on my brush to do a fourth one but after three, I saw that I was completely BBS. That soap felt like liquid nitrogen on my face (in a good way, of course!) and the Sharp Dressed Man scent that I love so much filled the bathroom. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Penguin kept that freeze going strong - what a wonderful, frigid shave! :happy088: :happy088:

Now I have to run to the post office with a parcel for a gentleman here who's going to try some Middle Eastern cream. :)

    Have a great weekend, guys!
  10. LOL! I appreciate the encouragement, but I know it's cheesy. I'm just learning how to mask and replace backgrounds, etc. in GIMP.

  12. I just saw a story on Fox News about a high school senior graduating from college two weeks before she got her high school diploma. This young lady is from Indiana. This wouldn't be your granddaughter, would it?

  13. No, my Jazzie is from right here in central Florida.
But it is so refreshing to see a young person who is on the ball, sights set on a career track (life track for that matter). She has exceeded our hopes, and chasing her dreams. She's awesome.
There were a few at the commencement ceremony.
Makes me feel better about getting old. The world will be in good hands if there's many like them.
  14. Friday

MdC Fougere today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Gillette Fatboy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud.

  16. Thanks for the review. I know it helped me and I'm sure a few others here who ordered this razor because the price was too good to pass up.
Question: Why do most start with a more aggressive setting and work down?

  19. SOTD: Vintage Sheffield razor with fullered 6/8" blade from Joseph Smith & Sons (1850); Crowne & Crane 'Lavender & Cedar' tallow soap, Omega silvertip brush, homemade bay rum aftershave. Wickedly-sharp razor with über-slick lather = a fantastic shave! Happy primer viernes de mayo, gents!

  20. Schick M1 Adjustable razor
    Personna blade
    Cade SS
    Satin Tip "Purist" brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Colorado Sage Cologne

Pretty good shave for the chilly Friday. The M1/Personna did well but the Cade SS is lacking for me. Smells great, looks like a fine lather but no cushion and little slickness for me. Goes back on the shelf for awhile. But I'm ready to go. Gotta be since we're getting ready for my Granddaughter's wedding tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks
