Another great shave this morning. The brass General is one smooth shaver. Two passes and touch ups yielded my normal near BBS shave. The MW Raspberry & Lemon scent and performance continue to impress me more each day. A splash of Shambala kept the citrus theme going strong. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

After four days with the Hawk it was time for a little change-up. Went with the smooth and mild Personna injector. Nice shave with it and the Fat Friday software combination. Love The Fat! It's a great soap. Smooth results in the end.

    Have a great day!

    5 May 2015 TGIF/Cinco de Mayo GEM/Soap Shave
For the last shave of the shave week, I stuck with Regiment Shaving's "High Speed". The JR#161 whipped up as usual a great lather. The lemon/lime notes really are present. The between pass face feel is nice and slick. After a week of playing around, I finally got the best angle for the GEM Featherweight figured out. 2.5 passes and the half pass on my neck was the best I've gotten DE or SE. Already looking forward to Sunday and the Treet blades I picked up at RiteAid.
Splashed on Canoe, which also seems to match up well with the "High Speed".
Que tengas un buen viernes mis amigos!!

Lovely photo, Clint. I don's see patina forming on the General yet.
Cool shot with the edge distortion of the bottle Perry! It took me a moment to figure out what was going on.
  10. Thank you! Waiting to board. Can't wait to get home.

  18. Thank you Andrew. It became clear to me that it will take forever to get a patina on the General. I know it took the better part of a year on the brush handle Doug made. So I decided I didn't want to wait and used a chemical solution to speed up the process. If I don't like the look, I can polish it out with brass polish.
