Yesterday:
-Sayuri razor typed thingy
-DeRuitem 22mm Finest
-Stirling Glastonbury Sheep Soap
-Stirling Port au Prince AS
Like most of the others here, I had little success with the Sayuri. Not having the ambition of Adam, or a lot of extra time, I gave it a college try on one side of my face. Some buffing type strokes would sort of accomplish some reduction, but were also leading me to using scary amounts of pressure, and some bad landings, so I left off for another day, and rescued with the Supply SE.
My first Mayhem shave was a strikeout. Well, actually it was my second Mayhem shave. The first took place in a really scary hotel bathroom I ended up landing in thanks to a blind Expedia booking made from my phone, sitting at a rest stop. The sanitary conditions of that dump definitely qualified as questionable. I am still waiting for the lab results to see what sort of diseases I acquired on that one. My money's on Hep B, but the sky was the limit at that place.
Today:
-Portland Razor Company - Hydra
-Thater 4125 3 Band
-Haslinger Sage
-Stirling Port au Prince AS
I ordered this razor built with a shorter blade, because I enjoy the nimbleness of the Feather sized shavettes. Oh boy, do I ever like this one. It is a perfect size, and the edge they put on it was the best one I have had sent to me, especially out of the box. It took seven weeks to get it, but it was worth the wait.
Haslinger is a soap that doesn't get a lot of mention, but it really is a performer. If the scents were a little stronger, I would call it an all around top tier soap. The sage is nice and fresh, and I got a great slick lather out of it.
Krylon, Baby.
