Bought this trophy-cased, vintage bottle of Brut back in the day and not until most recently did I break the seal and splash some on. Now, I remember when Brut was first introduced in 1964. (No, I was NOT shaving back then, ha ha). But who could forget Namath and Ali pitching this fragrance? For the curious, here are the "notes": I have to say, considering that this cologne has a "grocery store" reputation, it is, IMO, a really terrific scent. My wife (very particular) gave me her seal of approval last time I was wearing it. And the presentation back then...pretty cool. Anybody else "splash on" the Brut?
My "signature" scent. Becky tells me it makes me smell like me. I have and use Brut ASB, Brut AS, Brut Splash, and Brut cologne and Brut antiperspirant/deodorant. While I do move around and use other balms, aftershaves and colognes, the Brut pit stick is the only pit stick I use.
I used Brut quite often when I lived in Greece but I also noticed the scent was different then from how it is now. The newer version doesn't really appeal to me so much. It's not bad but I prefer the older one.
i use brut cologne as a daily scent,and have for years.readily available everywhere and lasts awhile.
I like and use the Brut Deodorant. Haven't used the A/S since about 1974. Not in any hurry to reacquaint myself.
i haven t used the aftershave due to night shaving.i don t think the cologne has aftershave qualities.
I love brut..new old whatever. I also use the dollar store knock offs. I get more good comments with brut or smells like brut then any other AS I wear.
That's a great looking bottle. I have the blue and red bottles of Brut, I'm not sure how I feel about them.
