Today I used a rapira super stainless, but I typically use GSBs in all of my DEs

Your eyes are not deceiving you. That's just the beautiful design of the bottle. Have a look at my album of that mail call from March. You quickly understand that the steep price tag is paying for more that just the fragrance. It's truly an elegant presentation: http://imgur.com/a/P49C1

Tonight's shave was with a razor I restored and honed, this morning. It was called the "Rusty Crusty Kamisori", that was covered in rust, and only cost $9.01 total. I decided to give it a western style hone. I had a 2 pass shave, that was smooth and silent, like the old cast iron wedges. This blade is heavy, stiff, precise, and sharp. I had a BBS shave, without a cut nick, or weeper. I love these old Japanese razors.

Razor- Japanese Kamisori "Suzuki". Asymmetrical grind.
    Brush- Vintage German Boar, "Oceans".
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Aftershave- Lucky Tiger

same shave paraphernalia tomorrow as today, with one exception:

    A.S.-Avon 4 Men "Maxwell 23" Tribute

and once again, I'll be shaving in the hallway-with quick rushes into the bathroom to rinse the razor. Showering in semi-darkness, but it's manageable with the hallway lighting and daylight coming in from the bedroom. SURVIVAL, BABY

Yeah agree. The protection it provides for a canned cream is outstanding. And you can't beat the price. It's a great alternative for the mornings you don't have time to lather and do the normal post shave clean up ritual.

Thanks for the kind comments on the brakes. Love to hear when folks notice when things are robust and well engineered. I have 72K on my Durango and never had to replace the pads. I plan on changing them this summer for the first time. I no longer do brakes, but for about 20 years I touched just about all the Chrysler brake systems one way or another as part of a couple of original equipment suppliers. I spent a lot of time with the Jeep and truck guys especially. Lately I have been working with cooling and fluid transfer systems used on Electrified Vehicles & Commercial Trucks. Everything from active battery cooling to charge air cooling ducts used on turbos. Basically I am responsible for new customers like Faraday, Tesla, Ken Worth, Mack, etc. I'll tell you what, those class 8 diesels engines are just huge! The funny thing is, that there has actually been some cross-over between EV technology and commercial heavy duty trucks. These are very dynamic and exciting times in the transportation industry to say the least.

The '94 T300 RAM was the first truck I designed parts for. I love Mopars. I really had fun working on the RAM SRT10 with the Viper engine.
