  2. Thanks Clint! It's a pretty big knot. (K: 30mm L: 52mm)
  3. The TV Special is in great shape. I have another that has a broken case that I use to shave with. Thank you for your words of encouragement Clint. :happy088:
  4. Good line up and picture.
  5. Looks great Andrew.
  6. Chris @americanshamrock is going to have to up his Game Show. Isn't there a Day Time TV Awards show? I keep expecting an awards show for the best awards show...show.

  9. He has nothing to worry about, as the awards are a once a year deal. I think we're pretty good on categories for the most part, and I've more or less figured out the rules at this point, as the swapapalooza twist should be the last big rules change. Since I've got a full-time job, I'm hoping to transition to watching significantly more MAYhem and the 30DC suggesting more nominees, so I fired the Price Waterhouse guy with the briefcase. I'm going to go drink a beer now, and perhaps ask someone here to hold it for me on occasion.

  15. When my Dad was alive and living in Florida, we would often go down to the marina and watch the fishing fleet come in. I understand in Jersey they go to the shore to watch the victims wash up.
  16. 3000 VPM MAYhem!

    Stahly Live Blade, fresh Feather
    Alum and Pinaud Clubman AS

Oh baby! I wound up the Steampunk monkey motions Live Blade action handle and got a MAYhem quality shave! Well, for anyone who hasn't used a Stahly with a functional vibrating mechanism it's a mild shave. But it vibrates at 3000 wiggles per minute! That means you grab you Space Age B-400 brush, swap on a latest Generation Synthetic Tuxedo knot, and whip up a juicy slick Route 66 lather. Smells like Floyd the Barber just walked through the room on one of his good days. Apply lather, wipe hands dry, and proceed to wind up the spring driven, water tight, no electricity needed vibrating shave. It's not a fast procedure because you move the razor head at half speed to allow the Live Action to do it's job. Considering the inherently mild nature of the base & cap, I dropped in a fresh Feather blade. Big handled and quite heavy, it's still a fun shave when I bring this anachronistic Retro Future device out for a wind-up. Three passes, chin buffing, plenty of lather for another all over WTG just because the face massage feels good. I landed just shy of DFS. With a lighter handle swapped on it can deliver. Rinse, alum applied for a cool report. Rinsed again, and a big splash of Clubman to carry the Barber Shop scent forward.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

  17. I'm curious to hear how you feel about those blades. Never tried them myself so I've stopped making disparaging comments.
  18. That is a skill I need to develope.
  19. That is one awesome sounding shave!!
  20. Hey now. They don't wash up. The cement blocks and chains keep 'em on the bottom.
