SOTD May 12 Rolls Razor / Ever-Ready 1912 Simpson's Ch2 Synthetic La Toja Florida Water Today I tried out my Rolls Razor, I honed the blade for SEptember last year but never had a chance to give it a go. I guess it needs more honing, it did shave but was very tuggy. I did two passes WTG and XTG and finished up my last pass with my Ever-Ready 1912 loaded with a GEM stainless. Splashed on a bit of Florida Water, and felt the burn! No blood, but I did have a bit of irritation. Have a great day everyone! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
My favorites at the moment are the Colonial General Brass and the Provision Adjustable for modern, I also have a vintage injector that I like a lot Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Friday, May 12th - Today I went back to my pristine Personna floating head injector! 4th shave ever for this razor and 4th shave on its persona blade... amazingly smooth and ez!! care free shave and I was flying around - I used a new pre shave oil - it is a etsy seller - beehive alchemy - big bottle with a good price! most other etsy sellers for more money sell a 2 oz bottle - not beehive alchemy! I recommend u go to etsy and search them out - bee hive alchemy and it took 2 days! and I received this mentholated icy peppermint oil. awesome stuff -
The Gems are just fantastic razors and can be had at a fraction of the price of mos DEs. It seems to be a well kept secret.
Yup... Most people just will not try. On a high note I got a veddy nice shave from a Schick M1 with a NOS Schick plus platinum. The JR #137 synthetic did a very very nice job on the Williams.
