  1. The 5 P's, Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance. Works every time according to Sgt. Ferrell.
  2. Beautiful setup and photo today, Doug. The Milord is a looker. That river looks really angry from the effects of the spring melt.

Have a fantastic day with your Bride and wish her a Happy Mother's Day from the 30 Day Crew!
  3. Thanks so much Charlie. We are going to my daughters house for dinner. She just lives 2 door down the road. All the best to you and yours. :happy088:
  4. Thank you, Doug. Have fun with your family!

We visited my dear Mom last night. She sees so much better in her left eye after the surgery. She commented that the blue sweater she was wearing looked green to her before the surgery. Her comment blessed and humbled me. If all goes well, she'll have the lens in her right eye replaced in about a month.

We don't have children, but my Bride and I celebrate our 30th anniversary on Tuesday. I'm a very blessed man, and she is a VERY patient and understanding lady. ;)

  5. I'm in the same boat. Married a little long but after 25 years it's all down hill. Wonderful news about your Mother Charlie.

  6. Excellent picture, Clint! I would agree that other you that the Damaskeene shaves a bit more smoothly than the 1912.
  7. Great picture, Doug! That river is flowing.
  8. Thanks very much Jim. River is rockin and rollin.

    May 14 SOTD:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Glacial Wintergreen
    CJB Pain Stick
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Brut Classic AS

Well, I went for two passes today with the Pain Stick. The first pass went fairly well, and produced a CCS. I felt like chasing a bit, so I did a baseball pattern lathering and went at it. I got myself BBS, but not without a little blood. I had three weepers, two on my neck and one on my chin. I was definitely a little more timid on my second pass, so I'll need to practice to get back to where I was. The Glacial Wintergreen was cold as ever and I love the scent. I hope everyone has a great day!
  10. Just beautiful Doug.

  12. Great shot Jim.
  13. Thanks very much Clint.
  14. Great news. I'm glad to hear your mom is doing well!
  15. Thank you, Doug!
  16. Can't wait to see it when you get it back.
  17. Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen! :)
  18. May 14 - Happy Mother's Day

    Gillette New SC
    Feather (2)
    JR # 160
    Eufros Oriental Breeze
Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, & unrefined shea butter

    Fine L'Orange Noir

Super duper two-pass early afternoon shave. The Feather blade smooths out and performs even better on the second shave. My Bride and I plan to have a nice dinner with my Mom this afternoon.

A very happy Mother's Day to all the Brides and Moms of the 30 Day Crew!

  19. Glad to hear your mom's surgery went well and she is reaping the benefits!

In case we all forget Tuesday, happy anniversary from the 30DS crew.
  20. Cool photo, Jim! I really like the grippy handle on the CJB. I can identify with your comments about using a shavette after an extended time away. It takes awhile to get your groove back. Happy Mom's day to your Bride!
