Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Red Tip. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Fine Platinum aftershave. Bob

Menthol Monday Hot water wash with a washcloth @Jayaruh ole#7/whipped dog silvertip Bombed Soap Commander Vision Gillette slim (J2)(9) Persona lab (4) Omega Alum Iced Aqua Velva ice blue B&B Ocean lotion Today's shave was excellent. MM again, seems they fly by. Ole#7 did a great job of the bombed vision (this tub may last longer than me). It was rich and cool and slick. Three passes with the slim. I bumped it up today to 9, I really like when I'm smooth late into the afternoon. I got to thinking why some razors take me to the afternoon delights while some (although smooth at the shave) just seem scruffy by 5oclock. So I bumped my slim into maximum overdrive. I paid mind to the go'ins ons, braced for blood flow. But nothing happened. Just smooth and comfy. (We'll see later if I achieved my goal). I finished with a hat trick of alum, iced Velva, and ocean lotion. (Got a thats nice from the missus). Hope y'all did as well, or better.
Parker Variant razor Rainbow Stainless blade Omega 10066 boar brush Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Barbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol Hadn't used a boar brush for a long time and it showed. Ok lather but nothing like what I get using a synthetic. Shave turned out ok but will go back to synthetic brushes for a better lather. YMMV of course with brushes. Now go enjoy your day folks while I go to the dentist
