  1. Razor: Portland Razor Co Chimera / Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head
    Blade: Chick
    Strop: Drygulch 45
Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom
    Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo
    Soap: Eufros Jabonman GEA
    Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Osage Rub
    Aftershave: Eufros Jabonman GEA balm
Fragrance: Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male

What a luxurious shave this morning. This Eufros is a fantastic soap; great glide, easy lather and a wonderful scent. I had read that the Le Male was a perfect match and it is. One pass with the Supply and two with the Chimera and I ended up with a DFS. I actually was able to go ATG with the Chimera today, a first. Have a great day folks!

  6. Three friends married women from different parts of the country.

The first man married a woman from Indiana. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from Michigan. He gave his wife orders to do all the cleaning, wash dishes, and prepare gourmet meals.
The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from Georgia. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, the dishes washed, the lawn mowed, the laundry washed and ironed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, and the second day he didn't see anything, but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone
down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he pees.
  7. Loveley Haul! I'm glad you brought home the B&P too!

I think I had a Focus at the beginning of the month. It's pretty much been any way the wind blows & taking my inspiration from other TSD members. Today I dipped into The Soap Pass-around samples and up popped Clubman Shave Soap. It seemed to create lather quickly, but didn't have any particular Pinaud scent. Applied there's some dissipation but the glide remains. That could be a use more product issue. The Bunny performed to it's usual standard - efficient reduction with no errors. I've stuck with the NOTSO comb for many uses, might be time to bump up to the WILD. Forgot to swipe with alum, and the Clubman AS had quite the alcohol burn. Hope the soap didn't cause issues. I'm laying blame on excessive passes for playing with a sample soap. Otherwise a DFS here on the bayou.

  10. Thank you!
  11. Great picture, Richard!
  12. I counted this morning and have something like 130 razors total. DE,SE, Injectors, straights and shavettes.

I put my foot down like that once.... A chunky redhead kicked me out.

    RUN FOREST RUN!!!!

Married my ex looks like, WOOOOOOO
  13. I suppose I should list the shave from Sunday. In the spirit of Mayhem, I grabbed the little pink disposable kamisori that @mrchick sent me.

Soap was awesome. With so many soaps in rotation, I forget how good Route 66 is. Good cushiony and thick lather, grabbed the little pink one that could, and noticed a few things. First, this razor is actually sharp. Not like the metal one. It cut hair well. Second, the spine is so thick that it limited the angle I could use, and I had a little higher angle than I wanted. Third, the blade has corners. Be careful how you set them down. No, seriously, be careful. Fourth, the scabs from last Tuesday's shave aren't healed yet. And they are bleeding again. Fifth, light weight makes it harder to gauge the pressure. Pressure leads to weepers. Overall, I got a very close shave. However, it was bloody and had some irritation. Half way through Mayhem. Still have a few more bloody shaves to look forward to, but I might need to dial it back a bit.
  14. AWESOME!!!
  15. Glad I could help
  16. Thank you James!
Sometimes less is more. The 2001 image manipulation software I've kept on my latest laptop has a hard time doing the cool tricks I get from my Android phone and apps.
  17. Such a friendly critter. Do you hand out cattle prods to the kids at the local kindergarten too?
  18. I thought I had read with about 10 or 12 razors. If any of you guys with 100+ razors just happen to have your wives or significant others tipped off by a "anonymous informant", you know where to send the razors, brothers. I am here to lighten your load and make your relationships run smoothly. You're welcome!
