Visiting my daughters today. I'm watching one of my twins graduate from college today and am excited. Always nice to start the day with a nice shave. This razor has been my travel razor for a while. I think I need to move it into my regular rotation as it's a wonderful performer. Great shave this morning. Arko Shave Stick AoS Pure Badger Brush Tuckmar Razor Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave Have a great day!
There was the Senator which is the same razor with a different finish. I think there was at least one British TTO OC as well as an Aristocrat OC. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Far be it from me to enable, but I found good prices here on TOBS and CF creams -- and Simpson's brushes BTW. Unfortunately, I don't see CF Lime. I purchased the CF lavender, and it is fantastic. This vendor doesn't carry a lot of stock, so if you don't see what you're looking for, you might check back in a fortnight and find it. http://www.shaving.ie/shaving-cream/
May 18 (Thursday) - Gillette adjustable comparison Gillette Fatboy on 3 / Topaz Platinum ( 1 ) 1930s Simms with 22mm Maggard black synthetic knot Red Green Duct Tape Special frankensoap Alum and Thayers Witch Hazel Astringent Aftershave After two shaves with my new Slim, I switched over for the first of a couple shaves with my Fatboy. I remember why I like this razor. It doesn't feel as light and nimble as the Slim but is a solid performer. It is a little bulkier to fit under the nose but isn't bad. Overall the shave is first rate. In fact, I think I already know where the Slim is going to fit into the trio of Gillette adjustables -- when I just had the Fatboy and Black Beauty, whichever one I was shaving with that day was my favourite, until I picked up the other one the next day. I suspect it is now going to be that way with all three... Everything did a good job today and left me cleaned up and ready to go. Have a great Thursday!
Awesome, Jason. Thanks for the update, and thanks again for sharing your brush-making talents with the 30 Day Crew.
Well you see Zorro and I were fighing this gang of bandits who were attacking a coach full of Nuns.........
You're exactly right. Different scents from the same maker are fine, they should perform basically the same.
Thank you, Jason. The Sheraton, to me, is much more mild then other OC Gillette's. Almost like a blue tip or an adjustable on 2. Thanks, Clint! Quite right, Clint. There were also several numbered British crats, the British Popular, and the ultra rare Anglo American Aristocrat. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
