Congrats on that too! Grandchildren are exciting. My children are so spread out, I will probably have grandkids before my youngest hits high school. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Agreed... unless you are in dire need of more of @BaylorGator 's prizes, @Drygulch , you've led plenty of charges off the cliff. I do like the sound of the cactus soap, Adam.
Hopefully they all take after your wife. Seriously, I will say a prayer for you guys. What an exciting time!
It may be too late for a response, and I will undoubtedly get confirmation of that 237 posts from now, but I would HAVE to use the Filarmonica. Not even a question.
And you're doing a great job, Rick. It's frustrating to sign on and see a bunch of crap like that. That's one of the things I love about the Den. They shut down all the negative stuff quickly and efficiently.
-Frederick Reynolds 13/16 Near Wedge -Stirling 26mm Finest -Stirling Iced Pineapple Soap and Splash I bought my first Sheffield wedge from @Keithmax who sold it to a Den member at a near giveaway price considering what some of these can go for in that condition. ( Edit *** Meant as a clumsy thank you) That razor kind of offered a glimpse down a new rabbit hole, and I am a lost ass spelunker. A fine gentleman from another classy type forum sold me this near wedge at an excellent price, and I think maybe I am officially bit by the collector bug. ('cause you all know me, and I have never had any kind of RAD before.). This one has enough of a smile that I am considering it a bit of a challenge to keep honed. There is something just really cool about shaving with razors that are 150 ish years old. I have tried several times to catch up on the thread, and always manage to fall asleep before getting there. I have officially started over right here. I promise to stay caught up til Sunday night. A unicorn goes out to everyone who posted a pic that I missed.
MAYhem More Arko! Must have had a good angle day, the Derby cut well today. Alum was good, AV was cold. Two pass automatic goodness. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a nice weekend!
+1. The Academy is mulling over its options on this one. Pretty impressive, as is your whole MAYhem "body of work" at this point.
Not to give anything away here, but for @Drygulch (and several others here) not to walk away with a Shavey would be a travesty, and I don't want any needless injuries to occur on my account. Having said that, no one would watch NASCAR if there was no chance of wrecks occurring but guys still strap on fire retardant clothes (think about that for a minute and ask yourself when was the last time I found myself in a situation where I needed fire resistant clothes?). Then they put on their helmets and drive. This thread seems to attract that same type of bold, moronic spirited man. You gotta love it! As Fuzzy would say, Woooooooo!
Wooo. I have a body of work. Is that like the man of steel? I wonder if they have an official Beer holder......
Ummmm, no. If it's any consolation, I think "jerry rigged razor of steel coat hanger" is about as close to "man of steel" as it gets here (with the possible exception of @wristwatchb, who looked pretty good in that picture of him in the man jumper he posted earlier).
