  1. Great looking picture. The Gem Junior is a very cool razor. :happy088:
  2. Three months?!?! More like 5-6 weeks. We start back just after July 4. We are going to Destin for an extended trip and will do anything possible to help recover! Teaching is hard, hard work.

  3. I'm looking forward to using the Colgate Barbershop soap(received in a PIF). Probably later this summer.
  4. I couldn't do it. Not in today's day and age, for sure. Maybe back in the day like when I was in school and teachers could still break pointers over your head or duct tape you into a trash can and use you as a door stop for a few hours..... (Both true stories, and both happened to me....)

You guys deserve a metal. Best I can do is a unicorn.
  5. wow, maybe there really IS something to how my Mom's friend always says summer is over on July 5!
  6. Ah, the good ol' days.

Actually I'm just about to turn 30 so I was brought up around the time disciplining children was bad. Still got some at home though so I think I turned out okay.

Out of focus this weekend travelling to coach my son's team. Two really nice shaves yesterday and today with my usual travel setup. Looking forward to getting back to my Injector focus after my return home.
    Have a great day all!

PS- walked into a little antique store and walked out with a Bar Handled NEW LC. I've been looking for a NEW in the wild- its got some plating loss but I paid very little for it. Hopefully it will clean up nicely.
  8. Thank you, Clint. It is one of my favorite razors. It shaves so smoothly and looks even better, IMO.
  9. School doesn't start that early, does it? You have to report to work then? That is quick! I definitely applaud all of you teachers; it is such a tough job.
  10. I don't think I have ever seen a Gem Junior Lather Catcher. It is a very cool looking razor for sure.
  11. That is a gorgeous razor. It is neat to see some of the detail that went into those older razors.
  12. Fuzzy, I left a message with Mrs. Wiggins.
  13. The best I can tell, it was made between 1907 and 1912. I always enjoy pulling it out for a spin.
  14. Thanks, Jared. I agree, they really put some nice detail in the some of these old razors.
  15. No, school starts for the kids around August 8. We go back early for marching band rehearsals and band camp. We start those rehearsals on July 13, but there is TONS to do before those start, so generally the free time for me winds down just after July 4.
  16. Extrapolation of this effect...
