Back in the day it was some potent chick atractant. I think it was stronger, then they came out with Brut 33, which was thinned down and cheaper. I wonder if that's what the modern stuff is? I used it so much, I got sick of it.
Thanks for the video. You are definitely a "fan" of Brut. Can you tell me if my bottle is original? (Refer to post #1) BTW, I have another NOS (still sealed) stashed.
I like Brut. A very clean, aromatic scent. Use the deodorant, splash and cologne occasionally. Love those silver and gold medallions!
I love Brut. My wife? Not so much. She was out of town last night so I practically bathed in it after shaving. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Brut is different also from country to country. I own the Made in Mexico version (or US market) and the French one (bought during a summer holiday in France) and they are different, in smell and the ingredients. Mexican one is stronger to me. I like it more than the French. Unfortunately it is now hard to find here in Europe. Anyway a really cheap (few Euro in France were it seems to sell a lot) after shave but with strong and persistent/long lasting smell. Again the Mexican seems more lasting.
Hmmm...i have some Brut around somewhere. I should go find that. Although Clubman Musk is a very similar scent to my nose.
I have a bottle of Brut Aprés Rasage (regular green AS) that I use at work these days. It's not something I'll stock up on again, yet I do like it. Just not as much as my other splashes.
I splashed some on yesterday from a tester at the supermarket. As soon as i approached my wife her face said it all, she hated it!! Her friend though said the scent jolted a memory of her grandfather. Still deciding on whether to buy it or not
I wish I could try the vintage Brut and Old Spice for that matter; I wonder if I’m missing something sometimes.
I just use the Dollar General knockoff. It's close enough to get the point of Brut across. Don't know what current production Brut smells like.
