So I was out and about today and ran across an antique store. I passed on a couple DE's (a first for me... they were CHEAP - Gillette Rockets for $10 each) and some misc shaving items and picked up a mint Schick J1 for $5. No case.

Stopped by 4 drug stores on the way home. Nobody had any blades.

Looking forward to trying this thing. It'll be my first injector shave.

The ER 1914 is truly perfection!

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #170 brush. I did two passes the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher razor and CVS SE blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Were those stores like walgreens and CVS? Those are nice razors. I have one I am going to use sometime in the coming week. Pics are always good too.

Nice J very nice. Ahh a holder for stropping blades. Neat I do not think I have seen one like that.

I do not think I have seen a Jr. Bar with that handle on it. Nice looking razor wooo.
