Yeah, it's seems to be a Joris "Odyssey" clone. The finish on the razor is 'ok' and is not up to the much more expensive Joris razor. Someday I will upgrade this to a Joris Odyssey. This clone is a very aggressive shaver. I'm still trying to find a comfortable blade for it.
I just got a flat top from a lady barber whose dad had the shop before he passed. Happy as a clam. (Why are clams happy, I wonder)? A little Clubman talc dusting...ahhh. Shave in a bit will be very simple, but very satisfying. I'm loving this new hobby and all I continue to learn here at TSD. I'll use my British Ever Ready 1912 and a drug store blade, which have actually working great for me! My aloe Barbasol will do the trick, along with sideburn shaping with a shavette. The Ever Ready was a recent birthday present from my darling girlfriend, and it's the only one I have. I love it! AS today will be Old Spice. Not an extensive or expensive setup, though I have made two of my aftershaves. Thanks, TSD, for a wealth of information and friendly chat as I pursue this great new hobby!
There's that mysterious *Special* Special Reserve, again. It catches my eye when I see the color. I am intrigued...

I wish Barrister and Mann would make this scent in a vegan formula for those of us with skin that prefers the vegetal soap. The scent description sounds really good.
I HIGHLY recommend you get the EdT. (or even the splash). This fragrance should NOT be missed. Thank you. It's my favorite razor (obviously).
very nice Karl! i am dying to try the Dutch schick blades, are they better than the vintage schick plus platinum?
Delta Echo GEM Junior//Rubberset 203//CRSW Oliva Citrus Paradisi//Reuzel Aftershave. Keeping the ball rolling with epic shaves this week. The Delta Echo Junior performed as expected, flawlessly, and it looked good doing it. And the Reuzel Aftershave ended it with a bang, very harassing for an alcohol based aftershave.
Really nice face and head shave a few minutes ago, if you haven't given KShave Worx a try I highly recommend them. This Timeless Razor is such high quality, I dig it. My JR172 is so dang cool, I made my wife check it out. And of course I used RazoRock Irish Countryside, smell good, feel good. PS. My wife reminds me about our brush ratio. 20 to 1..
Razor: Gillette Super Speed 1947 (@Boojum1) Blade: Gillette GSB (3) Brush: Amigos Dos Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic LE Jade Soap: B&M Latha Oceana Aftershave: Reef Point Command Presence Balm I was contacted by a member who informed me that my Secret Santa found out that I had to pay duty and custom fees as a result of the method he chose to ship my Secret Santa gift. To me it was no big deal, to him it was. I went to the mail box today and found an amazing PIF of B&M Latha Oceana Soap, Reef Point Command Presence Balm, and a bottle of Lucky Tiger aftershave. I am very thankful for these gifts. They worked perfectly for tonight's shave.

I can't believe my eyes - a package just came in with 100 Astras and a Palmolive Menthol cream. A birthday gift from a very dear friend of mine in Thessaloniki, Greece. He and I were next door neighbors when I lived there!
