What's a pearberry? A mix of gooseberry and pear? Hey, every hoopy frood knows where his towel is. I'm happy having a woman that doesn't mind me having a gun cabinet with 13 different pistols (14 if you count the caplock muzzle-loader), and enough ammunition that nobody's going to be picking up the cabinet and walking off with it. Now, if I could just find someone local that wanted to buy one of my two spare CZ-52's. Because that would damage the heck out of the blade? The number one "This is a fantasy" plot points in Sweeny Todd?
Has anyone here just shaved with a pocket knife? I think a hatchet wouldn't work, just because it's too large. I've honed a lot of knives, but never went for a 'razor' edge, because then you have an edge that won't work for anything _but_ shaving. Anything else just causes nicks and dulls it quickly.
and you smash your head with it. "It's like being drunk." "That doesn't sound too bad" "You know what it's like to be a glass of water?"
I've got an aunt lives just outside of Sour Lake. Must be something in the water west of the Sabine river. Everyone on the other side is normal!
Or Alabama-Coushatta, or a coon-ass.. (Or, depending on how where you are - in prison) I will admit, it's a great drive up to Alexandria. 3 o'clock rain showers daily.
At $0.10 a pop I think she could afford to go to town on you. Many moons ago I bought a Benchmade knife. Out of the package it was sharp enough to shave the hairs off your arm. Years later I bought another one, it wasn't quite as sharp. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
MAYhem!!! May 25 Razor - Fatip Piccolo Blade - (3) Soap - Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Brush - WCS Synthetic Post - Alum Third and final shave with the Fatip and Perma Sharp and I made sure to watch the pressure tonight. As in, not using any. Very smooth result and a nice DFS was the two pass result. Perma-Sharps are extremely high quality blades. A fine product of St. Petersburg. I used the Route 66 Bourbon Jungle which I've ignored for a bit. It's my second favorite scent and it was a great experience as always with an uber-slick lather. All in all a nice way to end the final day of calm before the true mayhem of my month begins. Here comes the busiest four days of the year for us, and it couldn't come soon enough. These next four days need to be monster in terms of sales. Need a bed? Hit me up! I can ship nationwide. Hope you all have family and other fun things planned for the holiday weekend. Summer is officially about to begin so here's to a good one!
I'll probably be working a lot of it too. Thanks for the offer, but we just downsized from a King to a Queen. Not because we don't want the room, but I'm tired of not being able to open the closet door, or my wife having to inch her way down her side of the bed.
Ahh Vidor. My grandparents moved there. Lotta happy memories at 70 heritage drive. Sounds like your stirring the pot again. About time to have a cup. Ahh. Redhead!! Mwahhhhh
TGIF shave and monthly wrap up Today's razor was a Dovo Master's series touched up a couple of shaves ago on a Zulu Grey. The edge was very smooth and sharp. Four passes and only tickle from the alum prevented me from declaring it an epic shave. Irritation A Closeness A+ Smoothness A+ Sharpness A The last two months I have been comparing finishers, Shapton glass 16k versus a Zulu Grey. I have come to the determination I can get a great edge from both, smooth and sharp but I can also screw it up. More than the stone it the honer that seems to be the critical variable. No pic Friday
MAYhem is coming to an end and I have used all of my planned devices. It suddenly occurred to me that I have a shaving tool in my garage that I have never shaved with. Off to the garage to dig in the bucket of painting supplies for tomorrow's razor. Besides being rusty, the blade that was left in it was cracked and beyond saving. After wiping out the rust and paint residue, I loaded a fresh GEM blade and soon realized that the two spike points would need to be muted. (I learned from the bloody Finger 2.0 shave) I whipped out the Norton barber's hone and not only muted the corners, but honed the blade for several laps. This looks like a winner. Wish me luck for my morning shave. My previous wounds have finally healed and I would like to finish the month blood free.
