Hm. Nobody took a dowel and cut a slot just deep enough to slide an SE blade into it, and narrow enough to grip? That'd be the "Cheap-beyond-belief kamisori" I won't do it because I don't even know how to shave properly _with_ an SE, let alone a straight.

Probably "Worst Mayhem Shave Results". From those results, a falling apart Zinc razor ought to be a step up.

We will save that one for you next year. You get a lot of time to master the skills!

Just to clarify, if you create your own category and rules and prize you can tie a prize to that category. Otherwise, academy category winners get to choose from the prize box. Two of the prizes offered have been generously offered up by @jtspartan and @Keithmax. The prize box is chocked full, so I'd encourage you to hold onto your razor, @Bookworm. After the awards are announced, if your favorite nominee didn't win, you still have the opportunity to award/send it to him as a dissenting opinion award, and the academy will post it to the board.

Now that's the kind of idea lacking wisdom and restraint that the Academy rewards!

As a new member to the Den I was unaware of 30DC and how this tread tied into that. Fair enough I do not want to be left out on the fun & shenanigans I will make it happen.
