Lovely shave!

I lost my focus this month, but had some excellent shaves. I enjoyed watching the Mayhem and I witnessed some brave souls.
Today's shave was great with these tools again. The Oscar 11 w/Omega 10049 boar is an amazing shave brush which gets better with each use.

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Heldtite Synthetic brush. I did two passes the Gillette Super 84 razor and Rockwell Swedish Stainless blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Received the Ming Shi razor in the mail today, and decided to try it out. I loaded it with a Lab Blue and set it on 2.5 for it's first shave. One side had a slightly different gap than the other, but not enough to make a difference, it was that slight. First pass went fine, and I knew at that point it would be a very efficient razor. Second pass also went very well, and with a bit of touch up, I achieved a very good BBS shave. I did have a little bit of irritation, but I attribute that to a rushed shave as I was in a hurry. Overall, a nice razor and well worth the price. I don't know how good the Ming Shi blades that came with it are, but I might try them sometime.

Tonight's shave was with a restore that was dull and rusty as could be, at first. Now it passes the HHT-CN. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues. I have a few of this brand razor and each is fantastic.
