Warzone 2100

Anyone like strategy games?
My favourite computer game Warzone 2100 is available for free at the link below. I've actually played it multiplayer over the net. Its similar to, but better than Command and Conquer.
There are two sections in the link below. The "Windows installer" in the second section titled "stable release" seems to work for me. Don't know what the other versions are all about.

I don't like strategy games, but I'm impressed that they have a Debian installer.

Its fun and little hard to under stand at first. Once you get going it is easy.

 

Finall! I've been waiting for them to finish the opensourcing project for a while now, and completely forgot about it.

And it has the 1.10 patch features. That made the game obscenely fun, though completely ridiculous.

Now The Logic Factory just has to finish Ascendancy 2, and my old school gaming will be complete.

It gets more difficult.

Maybe one day, once I get a decent computer of my own we'll have a go at two player or more. Although sorting out the timezones might be awkward.

I really enjoyed command and conquer for about ten years from the original through zero hour, although Renegade was a joke

 

Wow!
I loved C&C! One of the few computer games I thoroughly enjoyed, played most of them + addon packs (+ Dune and Dune2000! Big Westwood nerd )! Got the latest installment on my Mac.

WZ2100 has a Mac version too! Downloading as I write this!

 

Will I ever get fed up with this game.
