Well, what do you know. I guess it's true that everything really is on the internet.

 

Whenever I see a tractor, I expect to see Godzilla chasing it.

But they are not quite as good at destroying Tokyo over and over again.

I heard a loud noise last night outside. This morning I find both the trash cans knocked over and a line of trash strewn about 20 ft into the yard. This afternoon reports of a black bear spotted right in my neighborhood. This is a first for me and I had no idea they still habe bears in North Carolina. I should put out a pic-a-nic basket.

Fantastic car!! We have a new Hyundai Elantra, I would have gotten the Ioniq hybrid if they would have been available when we bought our car.
I hope you share your thoughts in a couple of months.

 

The Ioniq is the same body style as the Elantra, so if you like your Elantra, you would find this comfortable. I got the luxury model with all the newest safety features. These are great, but take some getting used to. I will tell you more once I have had the car for a while. How do you like your car, and what model year is it?

 

It's the LE model, we love it. Plenty of power under the hood for driving over mountains, smooth and very quiet engine. What's surprising is how big the car is inside, I'm 6'4" and have plenty of leg room. Congrats on your new car!!

got my car oil changed, paid my rent, cancelled a meeting, want to do some animal-welfare activity, will drive my Mom to an appointment later, and then it's the gym for me.

 

Went kayaking Monday. First for me, was fun....but really odd being on the water without a pole

 

I just finished making my first ever chicken salad... yeah, I know, big deal, who can't make chicken salad? But, the difference is that I tried it the healthy route... organic chicken breast, celery, grapes, slivered honey roasted almonds, apple, and greek yoghurt with a touch of yellow curry instead of mayo. It's cooling in the fridge now, but early results are favorable.

 

Huh. I'd've thought that for sharks kayaks are just an inconvenient food wrapper, not something to ride in.
