Very interesting read. So far(2 shaves) I'm liking the PAL. Much smoother than the Treet, which was head & shoulders above the GEMs from Walgreens. Be interesting next week to see where the Blue Stars come in.
Had a very early morning shave today. Thanks to @Screwtape I have some personna injector II blades to play with. I put one into a schick stick and blasted off a very very close DFS. Little bit of Arko loving going on too. Topped it all off with Family Dollar smells like old spice. Woo.!!!!

31.05.2017 First shave with a Feather Proguard on my Asylum RX and I'm very pleased with it! Shaved as close as the Feather Pro and gave a better post-shaving feeling, more comfortable. I even was able to achieve a comfortable and weeper-free ATG pass on the moustache area... I still have to try the Kai Protouch but this Feather Proguard seems to be a keeper.
Had my VERY FIRST injector shave today. I used my Shick J1 with Persona blade and about 1/2 stroke in I understood why people love these things. Ordinarily, I shave every evening after showering before going to bed (because a gentleman shaves every day). But I've been sick since since this past weekend so I hadn't shaved in 5 days. It mowed down the hair effortlessly - not too mild, not too aggressive. The only issue I had was I cut my nose in one spot because I'm used to manipulating the larger head and safety bar of a DE. I'm not used to such a small head. My next shave will be with my Schick G1.
SOTD May 31, 2017 Blade: GEM carbon Razor: Ever Ready 1914 SE Brush: Semogue 1520 boar Lather: Williams Mug Soap Post: Witch hazel, Aqua Velva aftershave WTG, touch up Terrific shave with the 1914 this morning. The Williams behaved very well and a nice shave resulted. Very enjoyable. Have a great day!
He makes my therapist a lot of money.... Sounds Awesome! I prefer the G over a J. Will be interesting to see what you think.
Came to this thread looking for this exact information! Thanks! Also checking out the rest of the intarwebs. Looking for a "regular" handle for injectors as a loaner for introducing people, and also to try for myself of course! One of my regular razors is a Sanguine Coolcut 9, a "shavette" style that uses injectors. Great blades, but I've learned to be careful with a new blade in a shavette!
I've seen good and bad reviews on that O type copy. From what I can tell, it's the Nationwide Campus razor that's been around for quite some time. I'd be interested to hear your feedback if you get one. BTW, eBarberShop is currently running a 10% off sale.
Alas, not to be. No shipping to Canada. Ebay has a number of older styles, but finding the right combination of reasonable price, good condition, and good shipping options might take a bit of looking.
It's definitely NOT the Nationwide Campus razor! I have a few friends who have both....They say this Ebarber razor is much nicer...I haven't seen one myself, so all this is second hand info...But I do know the e-barber 'O' clone is not like the Nationwide Campus razor...It's made by different people and to a higher grade finish.
