Today's shave Hot water wash with Nivea men's face wash and a washcloth Frank Shaving silvertip Sara's Creations Lavender (bombed) Ikon Shavecraft 101 Gillette Platinum Plus (3) Omega Alum Jockey Club ancaster lavender Today's shave was nice. Sara's lavender is clean, crisp, and loud. A bit thirsty, but great lather once you take the time to build it. The Shavecraft took me to school today, teaching me what a solid mild shaver can deliver. Great bbs results. Finished with alum and lavender. Hope y'all did as well, or better.

SOTD: Vintage Sheffield 5/8" rattler from Frederick Reynolds, Martin de Candre soap, vintage 1905 Rubberset boar, Wm. Neumann & Co. 'Heartwood' aftershave balm. Easy, single-handed shave with this efficient little gem. Two passes enough for a DFS! Have a great first of June, gents!

Treget Thursday Wow. Just a very close and completely comfortable shave. The 6s pairs well with voskhod - much smoother than the Rockwell blades. There is less audible feedback than with the Futur, but the shave is as good if not better. I can tell if I'm finished with part of my face if the razor is silent when I run across it. The 6s just feels solid as it should, being a solid chunk of stainless steel. Delor de Treget is an excellent soap in every respect, and Santal Auster is a nice creamy sandalwood finisher. Razor - Vintage Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 Blades - Polsilver Super Iridium Suds - Cyril R. Salter Sandalwood Shave brush - Vigshaving 26mm Synthetic Nylon Deodorant - Herban Cowboy "unscented" (not pictured) Aftershave - PAA Sangre de Drago Fragrance - Bvlgari Man in Black I can't say enough how the Cyril R. Salter cream soap is tied with Catie's Bubbles' old French cream style croap (that I don't see made anymore, even that cream formula is different now) for the best shave. 10's across the board with this shave soap. Love the stuff. This combo got some compliments straight away at work, so this is going to be a matching set now. The soap and after shave were left-over products from a Sandalwood competition and they didn't quite make the cut because they weren't a perfect match with my Tam Dao EDP fragrance. However, I loved the soap and aftershave so much, I decided to try to find a fragrance in my collection they would mate perfectly with. Bvlgari's Man in Black seems to be that perfect mate for this soap and aftershave. I realize that Bvlgari Man in Black has an actual shave soap for the scent, but I don't see the need for it when these are so great with it.
The Flare Tip England Rocket (TV Special) with a Voskhod performed admirably removing whiskers as it glided through the most excellent lather created by the English NGT Pure Badger brush (reknotted into a vintage Rubberset Handle) with English TOBS sandalwood soap(thank you Amy Jean). Finished with Gentlemen's Pride ASB, and Brut AS and Cologne. Have a blessed day gentlemen. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

Lathering up and letting it sit for a while really helps soften the beard. Three passes today; no blood , silent alum and a DFS. The Talbot is a fantastic soap; great scent, easy to lather and very slick. I can see why it's sells out so fast. This Chatillon Lux scent is also fantastic. It starts off green with a slight citrus but now that it has dried down I'm getting vanilla and musk. As usual the performance is top notch. Have a great day folks!
I was just going to jump in the shower, and I received a text from USPS. My Stainless Steel RazoRock Hawk is out for delivery. I'm looking for inspiration and I found it!! TOBS Grapefruit. Now I wait..
A repeat performance of today's shave for Friday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed Rapira day 5 Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS Stirling Glacial Unscented AS Balsam Fine Snake Bite AS Splash Givenchy Pour Homme EdT Guys, this is my honest and unbiased opinion - the Cryogen soap cannot and I repeat CANNOT even hope to compete with the Glacial ET. It's very cold, yes but Rod blew it out of the water with this creation of his. I'm still in a state of shock how this ET went through the manufacturing process so beautifully. The scent is to die for, the lather is magnificent, and the freeze from it literally shakes me up. I'm in love with the Glacial Unscented balm - it's bitterly cold and so skin-friendly. The Snake Bite can also knock you out - it's made with a boatload of menthol!
