I'll write more later but today was Christmas for me. For one, my 30DC brush arrived today. Pictures didn't do the handle justice, and my picture is crap to show the true beauty of this brush. The brush is going to get used tonight. I also got my first Straight Razor from Whipped Dog. Says Hess on it and the other side says SS Hair Milk Laboratories. Unfortunately I probably won't use this until Sunday. But this SR will be my focus. More to come! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I had a chance to try Twin injector blades when Tom @twhite shared a Schick Type M in a Pass Around, might have been September of last year? He even shared some vintage blades. If the code makes sense, from 1988. For those experimenting with Twin blades, know that they work in any Schick Type H or later Except for Hydro-magic.
Jim. PM me if you want to give the H a go. Very similar to the bunny. I find the H is better with twin blades. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
So they always tell you to put "crap" down when you cross a fence. Today I was topping back over, for the second time, when I got hung up in wire from the downed one.. I had "crap" in both hands, and landed on my left. It's fine, but not happy enough to grip a straight razor. Not sure if I'm gonna shave or just skip it and medicate....
Glad you're not torn up. Seen that happen. Try a warm bath, or at a minimum, a hot shower and some liniment.
Thanks. It's all good, not really even enough to call a sprain, just enough to not push fingertips together.
I've been guilty of doing the same thing. Hope you feel better soon. An adult beverage might help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
June 1 - PAA 11235 Merkur 34C/PermaSharp (day 4) Rockwell 6C/ Rockwell SS(day 2) The Phoenix Brush DIY PSO Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements 11235 Alum/Thayers/AOS PSB Today I grabbed another pass around box sample. This time it was PAA 11235. The scent was weak probably from age and even though I thought I over watered it, it made wonderful slick thick lather that had a light feel to it. Good protection and reminded me of top quality moisturizer or cold cream. It was excellent and left greatvpost shave feel. To try to deduce blade issues, I shaved with the PermaSharp on my left and a Rockwell SS on my right. In the end, I still had some burn from the alum but it was less than yesterday. Both sides felt equal in sting. It might be residual effects from yesterday's shave. It could just be my technique as well. 3.5 passes to BBS and even half a day later , my face feels good. I would definitely recommend PAA soap to everyone. I already looked at their offerings and made a list to check out when I go to Pasteur's.
