Jamie's Night Shave..
Used a new Schick type J today..... Always fun ejecting the blank blade.

Love this set and it's my favorite cologne.

Wow. That vintage razor, case and instructions are in perfect condition. Great preservation on it. And the Black Bot products picture is cool! Love the ensemble of gear today.

Third and final shave with the Super Max Platinum Plus and it's on 9 with the Fattie. I suddenly remembered I have some boar brushes around so I chose the Omega 10066 to whip the Arko into shape. Ah, yes, I remember this brush. The slight scritch, full splay....nice.

The shave was again very smooth. I can tell a slight difference with it set on 9. Just a hint more of the blade feel but no rough spots, dragging, or any other issues. No blood either as I watched my angle on the G-slide so I didn't mess that up again. The finish is near-BBS again. Another pass would have had the baby but might have risked a bit of irritation. As it stands, quiet alum and an all around great shave.

That's three rounds to the Super Max Platinum Plus with straight "A"s. I'd call this a fine blade. Nice way to start off the Super-Max group.

Next up will be the Super-Max Stainless Plus.

I'm terrible describing these things, but without referencing the web description, it has a musky crisp fragrance with some spice and almost some faint cinnamon finish. The AS is the star and has a nice tingle from the alcohol and menthol. The scent is fairly bright to me and the wife absolutely loves this one. The Crown King soap lathers great as expected and is very slick. The cushion is all you could ask for and the post left my face feeling soft and moisturized. I this Black Bot bundle is outstanding and from only one shave, I don't like to recommend any product, but I could not be happier at this point.

Pristine injector and wonderful looking lather!

The scent profile is just fabulous. Think Old English Leather with just a touch sweeter scent with a bit of oak casked aged whisky smokiness. You just have to experience it. It's my new favorite from Stone Cottage. They are producing some of the best scent profiles I have ever experienced.

Another magnificent three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed so much. The Black Ice soap's rich, slick, chilly lather also gave me great blade glide so my seven day old Rapira blade was able to mow down the tough stubble so easily. The Lucky Tiger balm provided lots of extra cooling and soothing, while the Fougere Santal aftershave gave me its lovely scent with a terrific menthol punch of its own. My wife gave me a big kiss and told me how beautiful I smelled!
