Since I was feeling lazy this weekend and wanting a relaxing day with the family, I picked up 9 lbs of baby back ribs. Last night I prepped the and applied my homemade dry rub. Just got the ribs on the Big Green Egg going low and slow. Should be a real good afternoon.

Jun 4 SOTD: Stirling Synthetic Brush Penhaligon's Bayolea SS Schick Type J Penhaligon's Bayolea Soothing Gel I broke from my focus this morning, as my wife and I are heading to California for a few days. I packed up my razor with the Voskhod blades, so I used the Type J instead. It was a terrific two pass BBS this morning. I have to say, I am fairly impressed with the Bayolea soap. It lathers well, is slick, and provides good protection. My wife and baby are joining me on this business trip, and my parents are coming in to stay at our house with the kids. It should be a fun trip, at least as fun as a work trip can be. I hope everyone has a great day!
June 4, 2017 Pass 1 Razor: NDC Post-War Tech Blade: Feather (3) Pass 2 Razor: M3 Schick Adjustable (5) Blade: Personna Injector II (4) Brush: Cremo by Vie-Long Cream: KMF Fragrance-Free Post: Alum, Listerine, WH I got it in my head today to use the post-War Tech so I moved over the Feather blade from the Fatboy. I don't know if it was the difference in the razors, something with the lather, or the blade just went south sitting for a few days, the the first pass was horrible with lots of tugging. So, for the second pass, I grabbed the Schick Adjustable which powered through the mess to a DFS with no irritation or blood. Needless to say, I binned the Feather and will have to figure this all out another day.
Thank you Jim. I have come to really like the two tone color scheme. My Big Green Egg is 22 years old this summer. Over that time I have tried to cook just about everything on the egg at least once. Also works wonderful for pizza, and with a circular steel plate smoked oysters Carolina style are to die for.
