Tabacstag Surprise This was one of the best shaves I've ever had. I was hesitant to use a feather blade with my Rockwell and the R6 plate, even though it worked well with the REST earlier. I am astonished at how smooth and comfortably my stubble went to it's demise. I could barely feel any blade - the sound was the only indication of progress. I made three passes on my cheeks and two on my neck, there was no burn at all from the alcohol splash. Tabac never fails. This is how shaving is meant to be. Prep: Chattilon Lux butter Soap: Tabac! Today's shave Hot water wash with nivea mens face wash and a washcloth Whipped dog deep set Silvertip Reef Point Test Depth Futur (3.5) Astra ss (1) Omega Alum Reef Point Test Depth aftershave balm Today's shave was perfect. New soap, and it was magnificent. Performed great, smelled even better. Three passes with the futur, but i think i was done at two. I'm thinking the ss's may cut closer than the sp's. The futur was nearly quiet on the third pass. Finished with alum and test depth balm. This was a highly successful maneuver. Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Schick Injector E1 Chinese Schick Blade (1) Semogue BC Texugo Arko SS Alum The first shave with the injector was pleasant. The thicker blade has a different face feel to it that will take some getting used to. It will take me a few shaves to dial in the angles, but it will be a nice addition to the rotation.

It came in velvet display out of the box. The soap is in a robust/heavy glass apothecary jar instead of in a standard plastic tub. Got a great 1-pass + touchup round and the smell is pretty good. Got a compliment on the cologne's scent today. This is a nice set. Really enjoyed it this morning.

This shave was absolutely perfect. Three passes made me so dolphin smooth and comfortable with so little effort. The Glacial MITA soap felt every bit as frigid as the other Glacials - wow, did that menthol ever pulverize me. The Glacial Unscented balm and Alcolado Glacial splash continued that womderful freeze!
