Brush: J&T® bamboo / Tuxedo synthetic 24 mm
and J&T® black walnut / Maggard synthetic 24 mm.
Shaving soap: Bon Berger Menthe stick (grated).
Razor: Maggard Slant / MR14 handle.
Blade: Lord Super Stainless (5).
After shave: Arko Men Cool after shave cream.

Compared the two knots today.
The differences are very small:
The tips of the Tuxedo are slightly softer, the Maggard has a little bit more backbone.
But as said: VERY small differences ....

 

Good shave today, but the Personna Lab Blue proved to be less smooth than feather or voskhod. I got a small weeper at the base of my neck as well. I still feel and smell great.

I'm in love - the new Gin and Tonic on the Rocks is another Stirling treasure. The scent is so refreshing with lemon, lime, and I guess juniper berries. Its lather is typical Stirling perfection - rich, slick, and so easy to work up. The post-shave care cannot be better. It's very cooling as well - in fact more than I expected. The Nip Man balm soothed my skin afterwards and the Amici Aftershave splash went cool and comfy. Another three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!

Catie’s Bubbles LTV today. 20 seconds to load the JB Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a Vintage Wilkison Light Brigade NEW Chromium in the Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Today's shave was wonderful. The olivewood sheds a hair or two, but did a great job with commitment. The scent is very nice. It's rich and sweet, but a bit earthly. Not as dirt as some others (which i like sometimes) but closer to AOS. I made three passes with the fatboy, I'm smooth and comfy. I finished with a triple, alum, Sandalo, and balm. As i write this I'm surrounded by the great scent.
