Brush: Whipped Dog HMW set in Dad's Spalted Maple Handle Soap: Stirling Iced Pineapple Razor: 1966 Slim on 4 with Astra SP AS: Captains Choice Bay Rum in a Lime sample jar. Great shave this morning with a few random thoughts: 1. As always, the Stirling was a winner. However, now that I own 1 iced and 1 glacial, I am determining that the menthol is a nice "change it up" kind of shave, but I am not a menthol junkie like many guys on TSD. 2. I had a bit of a surprise when a free sample of lime AS sent to me as a free sample from the Captain was actually bay rum. Surprise!
Thank you Doug. This has been going on for few weeks intermittently. We've confirmed there is no physical issue with the inner ear etc. It appears to be a reaction to meds that we will have to gradually change. She's being stubborn and won't come stay with us. I guess I know where I get it from. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I didn't realize how rough the test shave was last night off of the 1K stone. The shave went fine this morning, but boy did I feel the aftershave. I'm really liking this soap. It smells great and has nice slickness. SOTD Lisa's Natural Wet Shave Soap Wolf Whiskers Brush Portland Razor Company Siren Thayers WH Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Have a great weekend!
Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. The bad news is we are probably here until Monday. The good news is, we have answers and a course of treatment, which primarily involves strong IV antibiotics, which is why we have to stay until she receives a full regimen. But they seem to be helping already, so she (we) will be bored but feeling better. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Glad to hear of improvement already! Will be thinking about you guys over the weekend and into Monday.

Found this today for $15. Needs a little cleanup. They also had a Fat boy adjustable with the original case for like $67. A bunch of SEs and injectors too and a couple straights. Some gross old brushes too. I believe it's a 60's razor...maybe? Also taking the day off today. I also got my Octavia Noir soap from Gingers Garden and the Fatip Piccolo from @Bookworm. So many choices for my next shave.
Excellent news, Chris! Glad to hear the cause has been identified and it's treatable! I am still sending prayers your way for her full and complete recovery from the illness and yours and the rest of your family's from having to deal with her while she's bored and tied down to a bed for a week... Oh, and @clint64, prayers also for a return to health and strength for your mother and for strength and patience for you and your family while you deal with her in her illness...
Reset my Razorock Silvertip synth in the @jtspartan 30DC brush, set the cashmere knot in my Dad's final handle (done in cypress provided by @RyX), and used the Tuxedo in my Wild West Brushworks where the Razorock knot was previously. Now each handle and brush has found their match.
I'll be praying for your daughter. It is a beauty of a razor, I hope you are able to get hole quickly to enjoy it.
