My focus this month is on Nuavia shops. I just finished my 10 days with the Verde soap.
Nuàvia Verde represents a
new concept in the shaving world. Even if it should be used as a normal shaving soap, Nuàvia has three different functions: pre-shave, pro-shave, and after-shave. Nuàvia is an experience.
Nuàvia is entirely vegetal. It is as vegan as can possibly be and it contains a reduced, extra fine ingredient list. For example, it’s made with vegetal
stearic acid,
coconut oil,
shea butter,
calendula extract and added
glycerine.
More importantly is what Nuàvia does not contain. There’s no palm oil, no sodium hydroxide, no surfactants, no colorants, no preservatives, no parabens, no mineral oils, no petroleum derivatives, no tetrasodium EDTA, no tetrasodium etidronate, no titanium dioxide, no benzyl benzoate. Nuàvia is not tested on animals and it is not made with milled ready-made soap pellets.
Nuàvia comes in a specially designed, large, handmade, hand painted ceramic bowl. The container is large to allow an optimal brush loading.
Nuàvia Verde's scent has been developed in Grasse (France).
The top notes are fresh and aromatic: Grapefruit, Bay Leaf, Rose.
The middle notes are woody: Cedarwood, Vetyver, Precious Wood.
Base notes are: Amber, White Musk, Goldmoss.
I found this soap to be excellent, very easy to lather into a long lasting, slick lather with a protective cushion and glide. It also had a soothing post shave conditioning effect.
