  1. I heard a Special Weather report from Southern Cal., saying something about a loud thunder rumbling coming from Burbank...Must have been you shaving! I'm sure that set-up could be heard for miles...I know you got a fantastically close shave.Bet you also did your share of faceturbating afterwards....You've got to becareful with that...I heard you can get a ticket in California for excessive public face-fondleing...:happy102:

If version 2 of this Razor is as good as this, it is a bargain compared with other S/S SE offerings. Not sure whether to get a Head, or wait to try one of the new Gem Razors and go from there.

  4. Today.s Williams Wednesday afternoon shave for work will include a E2 with a vintage Schick Krona blade. I do not have very high hopes for the blade but we are going to try it.

  5. Today I used the Henckels loaded with a GEM stainless blade. I really didn't know what to expect but it shaved really well. Smooth and comfortable. I hope everyone is well.

Cali won't let you do anything now. I feel like a criminal. I have to check my shave in the dark.

  7. Colonial has a GEM style razor in the works, likely in Aluminum. Kirk said it should be ready for testing soon.

    That Claymore looks awesome, though.

  8. Good shave tonight. The old Krona blade in the E2 felt rough but it was a nice shave when done.

My favourite 1912, for me better than the Damaskeene. Delivers a nice smooth shave with a good all round finish.

  14. 1912 today but the highlight was the blade. I got these Wilkinsons last year but for some reason hadn't used them. Incredibly smooth and comfortable. I think they were made in the 70s. Too bad I only have 4 left.

  15. I used a long collar 1924 with treet blade today. Arko latheted great with the JR #176. I have come to realize I like my shave brushes like I like my revolvers...big boar.
